Der klassische CVO-Kunde kauft ein exklusives Fahrzeug mit einer Ausstattung, die vor der besseren Hälfte folgende Rechtfertigung zulässt: „Die ist zwar teurer, aber da muss man ja auch nix mehr dran machen“.

Stimmt soweit – eigentlich.

Denn die Mitarbeiter vom House of Flames in München haben nicht nur diverse Screamin´ Eagle Modelle mit NOCH mehr Chrom bestückt, sogar komplette Umbauten auf Basis der limitierten und begehrten Fahrzeuge sind bereits aus den heiligen Hallen gerollt.

So war es dann auch nicht verwunderlich, dass Thomas, Besitzer des hier gezeigten Bikes, die Zamdorferstrasse aufsuchte und den Umbau seiner 2008er FXSTSSE Screamin´ Eagle Springer in Auftrag gab. Zur Freude der Customizer machte er nur wenige Vorgaben:

die Lackierung in „Inferno Orange“ sollte beibehalten werden und das Motorrad am Schluss besonders Edel wirken.

Nichts leichter als das, wenn man – wie die Münchner – auf die prallgefüllten Regale des Hauslieferanten HPU zurückgreifen kann.

So wurde bei den Ulmern die einzigartige Einarmschwinge geordert, die mittels CNC-Technik aus dem vollen Aluminium gefräst ist. Ebenso von HPU stammen die 36er-Räder samt passendem Pulley und Bremsscheiben, das 63mm-Getriebeversatzkit, sowie der eigens für die Schwinge angefertigte seitliche Kennzeichenhalter.

Als optisches Schmankerl wurde als Nabencover ein Pike gedreht, der ab sofort bei HPU für die Einarmschwingen erhältlich ist.

Ein Legend Air System sorgt für extreme Optik und bietet dennoch ausreichend Komfort, um auch längere Strecken problemlos abfahren zu können.

Das kurze Heckteil über dem 280er Metzeler wurde in München von Hand angefertigt, ebenso wie die Sitzbankgrundplatte, die von Lederpapst Armin Dobstetter / Custom Leather mit Thomas´ Familienwappen verziert wurde.

Die perfekte Lackierung des Heckteils übernahm auch diesmal wieder Marcus Pfeil, der nicht zum ersten Mal für Thomas zur Lackier-Pistole griff.

Auch der Motor blieb nicht unangetastet. So montierten die Mechaniker einen Screamin´ Eagle Heavy Breather-Luftfilter und eine Kess-Tech-Auspuffanlage, die mittels einer Sonderangefertigen mit dem Motor verbunden ist. Das Ganze sorgt in Verbindung mit der perfekt programmierten Motorsoftware für ordentlich Schub.

Das Bike wurde pünktlich zur IMOT in München fertig und konnte so nicht nur seinen Besitzer, sondern auch die zahlreichen Messe-Besucher begeistern.

Und für die Mitarbeiter des House of Flames galt: Mission erfüllt – next Bike!
